Ross v. Harness & Selby Granger
Roger Ross, a self-employed heating and air conditioning contractor, was hit by a flatbed tractor trailer while on his way to a service call. He sustained internal injuries, broken ribs, a broken hip, a broken ankle, and a punctured lung. The Paul Law Firm’s investigation concluded that the truck had been operated illegally and without insurance. By using Missouri’s “stacking” rule for uninsured motorist insurance coverage, Abe Paul was able to settle Roger’s claim for $550,000.00. In addition, Roger sued his insurance agent for failing to increase his coverage and received an additional $92,000.00.
